Everyday on the way home from Sandy's the local HS Lacrosse team is out playing or practicing. Everyday, Amara comments on the "hippo players," usually saying, "Daddy hippo player." Everyday I get confused.
We'll go to a softball game, and again, Daddy is a "hippo player."
She can say softball, she can say football, she can even say basketball.
So why then does she choose to say hippo player?
