Amara's World

Boy, you know a kid has you whipped when the entire van is patting, raising their arms, and shouting "Blast off!" at the commands of a 2-year-old. That was the scene in the car on the way home from the airport.

Amara was patting her legs as they do in "Little Einstein's." When we weren't originally joining her, she called us each by name to make sure that we did. She continued saying "Pat, pat, pat" until we were all patting our legs.

Then she cried out, "Now raise your arms!" and waited patiently while we each followed suit.

And finally, she yelled, "Now Blast Off!"

Over... and over... and over...

Mixed in was a little bit of "What does this animal say?" which is always entertaining. Also a bit of hiding behind her blessed mittens for a game of "Where's Amara?"

We're lucky we didn't get pulled over!
