Mittens in May

Saturday morning Amara and I drove to the airport to pick up my parents. She had found her old (i.e. from when she was 3-4 months old) mittens in the drawer with my keys. She put them on and absolutely refused to take them off.

We stopped at the mall on the way to the airport. Again, she refused to take them off. Here we are, nearly 80 degrees, she's got on shorts and a tank top -- and mittens!

We arrive at the aiport -- mittens still on. I take her out to greet Grandma and Grandpa. Mittens still on! I continued to ask her if she wanted to leave them in the car -- near meltdown at the very suggestion!

Not worth the fight. Definitely a free spirit!
