Today for Amara's nap, we read her "the animal book" -- which is what she calls the "Noah and the Ark" book with the finger puppet. She likes to name all the animals.
After we were done reading it, Amara wanted to read it herself. Now the way this book works: you put your finger in the Noah finger puppet, and the character is on each page. There's a square hole in each page, including the cover, so that he can narrate the story.
As she finished reading the book, she closed the cover, but it caught the puppet. She warned Noah, "Watch your head!"
