How Does This Work?

Dominic is very good at using items properly. Of course, the toy substitutes never capture his attention the way the real variety does.

Dad's Cell Phone: First of all, his work phone is a blackberry, so it has a lot more buttons to choose from, making it all the more desirable. This, I believe, is Dominic's favorite "toy." Every time he plays with it, he holds it up to his ear. But beyond that, when he switches ears, he makes sure to turn it the right direction with the buttons against his cheek and the ear piece is always up to his ear.

Remote Control: There are many, many times I'll glance up to see him pointing the remote at the TV. He never points it anywhere else; always at the TV. Thankfully we have keyguards (of sorts) on the remotes, or the channel would always be changing.

Digital Camera: This is last night's new discovery. I made the mistake of leaving my camera on the floor. He picked it up and put it immediately to his eye. The only problem with that - he didn't realize the weight of it and smacked himself right in the face! Thankfully he was too excited about his new discovery to cry or do anything other than look surprised.
