Saturday afternoon we were playing with Dominic's new basketball and hoop. Amara refused to put down her baby elephant to play ball. It was quite a hindrance, but she didn't care, often praising the baby elephant, "Good helping, baby elephant! Help make bakket!"
At one point, the ball rolled away and she went over to go get it... still clutching the elephant. This messed up her (not so good anyway) balance, and she toppled over, bouncing off the ball and landing on her head.
It was awkward and hilarious.
She got up, giggling, rubbing her head, grinning, and said to me, "That didn't work!"
