Stop Hiding!

Amara has chosen for her favorite toy lately to be her "Baby Elephant" (a Huffalump). She takes it everywhere, including to Sandy's every day. Nicole also has an identical baby elephant. You can tell them apart because Amara's has a pink nose from sidewalk chalk.

Yesterday as we were leaving Sandy's, Amara realized her Baby Elephant wasn't ready to go. In fact, it wasn't even in the room. She refused any substitute animal offered as a sleep-over treat. Sandy found the Elephant sleeping in Nicole's room.

Amara lovingly took it back. Then she proceeded to scold it the entire way out to the car. She said, "No more hiding! It's time to go home!" over and over and over again.
