Tonight we were eating ice cream for dessert. We decided to give Dominic a little sliver in a bowl to see what he would do.
First Attempt:
He grabbed it with his hand, but instantly recoiled. Not only was it cold, but it was messy. We discussed messy fingers with the birthday cake. Our kids don't do messy fingers for some reason.
Second Attempt:
We gave him a spoon. He knew what he was supposed to do with it, but couldn't maneuver it to accomplish his goal of ice cream.
Third Attempt:
Pick up the bowl and drink from it like a sippy cup.
Ahh! Ice cream success!
