It took us about 5 minutes today to walk the 50 feet from our car to Sandy's front door.
Why, you ask?
It rained last night.
And what does that have to do with the time it takes to get from the car to the door? Well, rain creates puddles. Puddles become magnets for two-year-olds. Especially two-year-olds wearing clean shoes!
Amara had to jump in every single puddle! It didn't matter that some were mere quarter-sized holes in the pavement -- she had to jump in them.
Can't say I blame her. Wish I wasn't in work clothes so I could have joined her!
