Dominic has always been more than willing to share hugs with anyone; he has always been very affectionate.
This morning, Matt, Jessica, Luke, Bubba and Tish were leaving our house to return to Texas. We told the kids to go give everyone hugs. Dominic refused, and even ran the other way when he was approached.
He ran to Jon and said, "I don't want them to leave!" He thought that perhaps if he witheld his hugs, they wouldn't be able to leave. As they pulled out of the driveway, he snuggled into me and said, "I miss them..."
