It's not Dark, it's Pink

Amara's room has pink string curtains covering the window. They cast a really cool glow in the sunlight.

This morning, Amara wanted to play in her room a while before she came down. I sat on her bed and enjoyed her conversations with her elephant (she put him to sleep on the hope chest). Once her baby elephant was in "bed," she went to the lights and turned them all out -- including the night light.

I said, "Hey, it's dark in here!"

Referring to the rising sun and the pink glow, she said, "No, it's not dark, it's pink!"
