Amara has started a cute little morning tradition. When she wakes up, she must read her Baby Elephant a bedtime story and put it to bed.
First, Amara ever-so-carefully lays the elephant down and covers it up with a blanket. On a mission, she then goes to select a book. She almost always selects the "Bible Book," which is what we call her nightly devotionals. Then she sits down in her Pooh chair and opens the book. Each page begins, "One la la da time..." and she then describes the picture on the page. She turns the page... "One la la da time...." That goes on for about 10 pages. Then she says "The end!"
After the book, she kisses the elephant, says "See you in the morning! Sleep Tight!" And of course, she can't forget the prayers. She holds the elephants hands, prays, says "Amen!" and we're ready to start the day.

Great blog! I sure wish I had this when mine were little. Those moments are all lost for me. Keep it up!
