A Spanish Lesson

We're watching Diego on TV right now. He's teaching us to say, "Caliente" for "hot." Amara heard him teaching, and said, "Woah... that's a tough one."

I repeated it and said, "It's 'caliente' -- it means 'hot' in Spanish."

Amara said, "We can just say 'hot.'"

This time I can definitely see the logic -- go for the shorter and easier word if they mean the same thing!

LOL

I always say why say grenouille (French) when you can just say frog!
