Per usual, we went out for lunch as a family after church. Today was a bit iffy, because Dominic was completely cranky due to needing a nap in the worst way. We pushed through though, and opted for a buffet at Pizza Hut, so that we didn't have to wait for food.
After we finished our meal, we had the "sugar pizza" as we call it. It's basically cinnamon breadsticks. Suddenly Dominic's mood improved. Before, he was pushing food away from his mouth with a squawk. Now he was gobbling it up as fast as he could. When Jon and I started laughing at him, he put this little cheese ball grin on his face and danced in his chair. He turned his head back and forth between the two of us with that grin, still dancing, as if to assure us that he'll always be in a good mood for sugar! He's truly my child!
