It has been interesting to see how Dominic pronounces Amara's name. When it was just learning to speak, it was "Rah-Rah." That didn't last too long, and soon became "Ah-yah." It has been "Ah-yah" really for most of his speaking life.
This past weekend, apparently Amara got fed up. She told him emphatically, "I'm NOT Ah-yah, I'm Amara!"
She's now "Mara" according to Dominic.
Now if she'd just figure out he's Dominic, not Dommick.

That's ok. Alex is 5 and calls Ben, Benjermin instead of Benjamin.
According to Fritz Adrian is Azhren, but Ani, Cameron, and Fritz are all Ani!
