We were at the Hallmark store on Saturday buying the kids their "Third Christmas" and "Fifth Christmas" ornaments. As we were checking out, a great-grandfatherly gentleman and his wife asked the kids, "Who is coming for Christmas?" He was definitely eluding to Santa Claus.
Amara's immediate response: "Grandma and Grandpa!"
The couple laughed, one of both surprise and joy. For now, at least, the kids have their Christmas visitor priorities in order.
