I had to travel for work this past week, which meant each night at around dinner time I called home. One particular night we were at a blues restaurant, and the house band was EXTREMELY loud!
You know how, when your surroundings are loud, you talk louder to everyone? Well... apparently I did that.
As I was talking to Amara, she interrupted me and said, "Mom... your kinda shouting in my ear."
Me: "Oops... I'm sorry! It's loud here."
Amara: "That's OK."
Oh good... cuz I don't know if I can stop!
