Little Carpenter
This weekend Jon and I were looking at our tile backsplash, discussing the best way to remove it. The kids were downstairs playing. Jon went to the garage to get a hammer and he started tapping at the tiles to see just how much glue was holding them in place. We weren't intending to knock out the project that afternoon, so after one sample tile, he replaced his hammer and went to another room.
A couple mintues later, I heard Dominic climbing the stairs. He rounded the corner slapping his toy hammer against his hand. He peeked into the kitchen and glanced in the laundry room. Then he looked at me with a determined look, still hammering his own hand, "Where's Dad?"
Little man was ready to help pound things! He knows the sound of a hammer when he hears one!
