The Race

Jon and I often challenge the kids to races in the morning to see who can get dressed the quickest. This usually works to light a fire under their tales, and they’ll get themselves ready.

This morning, Dominic was in high-gear. He proudly bragged that he was dressed first, before Amara. Jon reminded him that he didn’t have shoes on, “You need to put your shoes on before you win the race.”

Without hesistation, Dominic’s response was, “I’m already winning, dude, I’m schmoozing Dinoco.”

You know… Dinoco… from “Cars.”

I can’t make this stuff up.
