This past weekend, we went out to eat after church, which is our weekly "date" tradition. Amara took her Sunday School art project in with her. Her project had been to frame "The Lord's Prayer" with craft sticks. We allowed it, despite knowing she'd probably forget it there and then be upset about it.
She surprised us though. As we were finishing up our meal, she said, "Mommy, can I leave my project on the table, so that the people serving us can take it home and learn about Jesus, too?"
Absolutely!
