We introduced the kids to the dock today. They hadn't been down there yet.
They loved it -- surprise, surprise.
There were ducks and geese all over, because our neighbor has a feeder out on his dock. One beautiful white and black bird just sat there the whole time we were down there. It was very cool.
Amara's trying to "catch a whopper" with the stick. No line and no bait makes it a bit difficult! We were looking at the kids' poles and life jackets the other day, and will soon make a purchase. It's kind of scary to even have them down there without the life jackets on! We did find one in the water though -- it was a kids' size and everything -- it had floated up to our dock.
