As a general rule, Dominic has got to be one of the happiest kids I know. The teachers at Day Care tell me that all the kids are just drawn to him. All the teachers love him, too. It's hard not to; he's smiley, happy, and laughing nearly all the time. And he's a clown -- if he can figure out how to make you laugh, he'll do things over and over again.
The Day Care owner asked Dominic the other day, "Dominic, are you cute?" To which he responded, "Yah!"
We'll be driving home in the evenings and Amara is often not so happy at the end of the day. But I'll glance back at Dominic, and he'll have a silly twinkle in his eye, the neck of his jacket in his mouth, and as soon as he sees me peek, he'll start bee-bopping in his car-seat. He rocks as hard as he can back and forth, laughing the whole time.
Around the house, he just runs from room to room checking things out, waving as he goes, "talking" all the while. He's got such a fun, care-free spirit, and it's catchy.
