Today we had to go to the doctor (Amara has a sinus infection, Dominic an ear infection). The doctor was showing Amara all her "tools" so that they didn't scare her. Amara especially liked the light for looking into her ears -- she liked how it turned her finger red when she touched it. She also liked the "cap" that went on it. She was great when the doctor was inspecting her.
When it was Dominic's turn, we turned our attention to him. Then Amara started "whistling" and I looked at her. She grabbed the cap that the doctor was going to use for Dominic's ear and was whistling through it -- it was her new flute. She was quite pleased with her new invention. The doctor was amused, too!
