Today we had Dominic's 15 month appointment (33inches, 29lbs 6oz). At the appointment, the doc commented that he "looks awesome!" She was happy, as we were, to see such immediate and measurable results from the ear tubes.
The only place he could improve was in eating his vegetables, but I take full blame for that one, because I don't care for them much myself (in other words, there aren't many of them on the table for him to choose to eat).
As we were gearing up to leave, she was saying to Dominic, "Keep sleeping well, OK? Keep eating well, OK? And remember to eat your vegetables, OK?" All the while, Dominic was nodding vigorously!
Then she asked for a high-five, which he promptly gave her. Immediately following, he held up both hands -- he wanted high-five back! She thought he was one cool kid!
